Born and raised in California until my family moved to Washington in the 1980s, I've been developing for the web since 1997 beginning with customizing online chat profiles with snippets of HTML. In the 20+ years since, I've performed work on a wide variety of productions as technology has continued to advance. I hold degrees in psychology and multimedia also earned in that time.
I approach programming solutions to problems from the idea that technology can and should make life simpler, not more complicated. Tedious and otherwise repetitive tasks ought to be automated. The least number of steps in order to achieve an objective is ideal.
Offline I enjoy, among other things, science fiction fantasy illustration, irreverent comedy, science documentaries and getting outdoors on my mountain bike.
