We are proud to unveil GuamIslandPages.com 2.0 for Ad Ventures Publishing Inc this month.

First and foremost, it looks fantastic! Leo, the designer, adapted the printed yellow pages cover art by Debbie Chow beautifully. The smooth elements and semi-transparent menus frame but do not distract away from search results, the primary focus, being featured.

Functionally, several custom modules have been developed for the popular Drupal CMS framework that the site is built upon. Among these, the Guam search module stands out, taking advantage of Drupal's auto-complete feature to facilitate find as you type suggestions and combines with taxonomy and views modules to create directory style listings for easy browsing.

We would have incorporated maps but soon discovered that none of the freely available mapping services had charted Guam. Yahoo! maps was the most complete -- it shows where the mountain is.
