  • TextPad - The Text Editor for Windows Out of the zillions of text editors and IDEs out there, TextPad is the one we always come back to. It doesn't have everything we'd like yet (code folding, for one) but it's refreshing free of feature creep, fast to hit the ground running with, easy to plug other tools into and has one killer feature that isn't found in other editors: text wrap that maintains indentation so that long lines remain in tidy blocks indented at the tab stops they began on.
